Overview

SubGard is designed with your privacy as the top priority. It is a completely offline, local-only application.

Data Collection

SubGard collects ZERO data. None. Ever. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no user accounts.

Data Storage & Backups

SubGard stores all your subscription information locally on your device only. SubGard itself never accesses the internet or uploads your data anywhere.

However, your device's operating system may automatically include SubGard's local data in your regular device backups (iCloud for iOS, Google Drive for Android). This is handled entirely by your device's OS, not by SubGard. You can disable device backups in your device settings if you prefer.

            Important: In any case, remember that none of your bank information or private data is ever put into the SubGard app.
        

Third-Party Services

SubGard does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics providers, or advertising networks. Your data remains solely on your device.

Internet Access

SubGard does not require or use internet access to function. All features are available offline.

Cookies & Tracking

SubGard does NOT use cookies, tracking pixels, or any similar technologies. Because the app operates entirely offline and locally on your device, there are no cookies placed in your system, no web tracking, and no behavioral analytics.

GDPR & Privacy Regulations

SubGard is designed to be fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations by design:

No personal data is collected or processed by us
All data remains exclusively on your device
No consent forms needed (no data collection)
Right to erasure: Simply delete the app
Right to data portability: Export your data as CSV
No data breaches possible (we never have your data)

Since we never collect, process, or store any user data on our servers, traditional privacy regulation concerns do not apply.

What Information Does SubGard Store?

SubGard only stores the information YOU enter:

Subscription names
Renewal dates
Price amounts
Cancellation contact info (URLs, emails, phone numbers)
Optional notes you add

That's it. No passwords. No bank details. No credit card numbers. No personal information.

Any changes to this privacy policy will be posted in future app updates.
